FiftyFifty Session – Lomepal, Zwangere Guy, DC Salas & Issa Maïga | Decembre 2017

Zwangere Guy:

Previous membre of Stikstof where he was known under the pseudo Omar G and winner of the covoted “Breakthroug artist” price of the Red Bull elektropedia awards 2017, Zwangere Guy is now flying solo and is just starting to show us how fly he is. His rap is in dutch but connections are strong with the french speaking black-yellow-red rap game. Federal culture 2.0 under Dokter Guy’s reign !

DC Salas:

Diego Cortez Salas (DC Salas) is a DJ and belgian production, peruvian born, living in Brussels.

Teenage Salas was already all about electronic music and smoothly got into Brussels’ night life. It didn’t take long for him to DJ in some mythical clubs such as the Dali’s Bar or the Wax. He is now strongly established as a  key member of the belgian electronic scene, Djing all around the kingdom and Europe.

His first EP “Peru” was released in 2010 under Doctor Vinyl Records.

He has been co-managing Biologic Record since 2012 with the founder Abstraxion. The Marseille based Label becomes his second home where he releases in 2017  his first album « The Unspoken LP».

Issa Maïga:

Issa Maïga can’t be considered a beginner in the world of electronic music.

Still very (too) young, Issa goes out to the Fuse (Brussels) for the first time. Once again, he quickly gets addicted to the place and sound and regularly goes back to discover labels such as Perlon, Dial and artists like Horror Inc. (Akufen, Marc Leclair), Isolee or Lawrence, which will influence him a lot, amoung Bangkok Impakt, Alden Tyrell, I-F, Dopplereffekt, Detroit Techno & Chicago House Classics that still inspire him nowadays. . It’s at the Fuse that he’ll be discovered by Pierre (Fuse, Lessizmore) and given a tryout for Lessizmore’s 5 years birthday in 2010. Tryout that will reveal itself successful as Issa is nowadays a resident DJ for this label and can so give a full go to his passion.

He has already played with artists such as dOP, Soulphiction, Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts, Mathias Kaden, Art Department, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Frivolous, Axel Boman, Maayan Nidam …
