Young Brussels-based artist Uwase is among our favourite discoveries of the year. A producer, writer and singer, she last released an EP in 2022, but ‘Pink Skies Ahead’ immediately brought her to the stages of the Botanique, We Are Open and Little Waves, among others. She is currently putting the finishing touches on new music, for which she is collaborating with Jasper Segers (Sylvie Kreusch, Oriana Ikomo). The latest single “Chorus Baby” is already a foretaste of what will follow in the fall, but to say that she is already considered one of the most sparkling indie pop stars of our capital is an understatement.
